Our History
Established in 1911, the Peer Gynt Lodge of the Sons of Norway has served the Greater Los Angeles area by promoting Norwegian and Scandinavian heritage and genealogy.
Insurance and Retirement
In the beginning, Sons of Norway was created to provide life insurance for its recently immigrated members.
And that service continues today. Sons of Norway offers Permanent and Term Insurance plans as well as Annuities.
A Service Organization
As a lodge, we seek out opportunities to serve those in need in whatever way we can,. The lodge is committed to reaching out to be of service to our community.

Meetings
At present , we meet in person at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 4783 W. 130th St., Hawthorne, CA 90250, always on the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM.
For those who live some distance away or are still uncomfortable meeting in person, you are welcome to participate via Zoom. The details are in the lodge newsletter. The newsletter can be found on this same website.
